Riding & parking in Ialyssos
Ialyssos is flat and easy along the seafront; the main coast road towards the airport carries more traffic and the afternoon meltemi is strong in the open stretches — the quad and the 300cc/400cc scooters are steadier than a 125cc. The road up to Filerimos is wide, well surfaced and quiet, with a large car park at the top. Parking in the resort is easy at hotels and along the side streets.

Filerimos, ten minutes from your hotel
The signed road climbs straight from Ialyssos to the monastery, the ruins of ancient Ialysos and the Way of the Cross viewpoint. Peacocks included. Best early morning or after 18:00.
Butterfly Valley and Kamiros
West along the coast past the airport to Theologos, inland to the Petaloudes valley (butterflies June–September), then back to the sea at Ancient Kamiros. Around 55 km on quiet roads.
Rhodes Town and Mandraki
Fifteen minutes east on the coast road to the windmills of Mandraki harbour and the Old Town gates. Park by the walls and explore on foot.
Which vehicle for Ialyssos?
The 125cc Alexone covers Ialyssos, Kremasti and the seafront well. If you plan to ride into Rhodes Town regularly or head for Lindos, take the 300cc Explorer or 400cc Huracan. For longer trips to Filerimos, the Butterfly Valley, Ancient Kamiros and the west coast, the 650cc ODESS is a comfortable, stable choice for exploring on the normal road network.

Yes. It is a short, well-surfaced climb; the 125cc manages it comfortably with one rider. Two-up, a 300cc or the ATV is more relaxed.
Can I return the vehicle at the airport on my departure day?
Yes. Ride to departures at the agreed time, hand over the keys and walk into the terminal. Free of charge.
